I had mixed feelings about my stay. While the main guesthouse was amazing, spacious, and perfect for our large group, we faced a significant issue with power outages that really impacted our experience. The location is great for exploring nearby attractions, but the dining options fell short of expectations. Overall, it was a comfortable place, but there are definitely improvements needed in service and maintenance.

I had an enjoyable four-night stay in a twin bed chalet that was nicely situated – close to major attractions yet remote enough for tranquility. The rooms were decent size and while the resort felt a bit old, it had a quiet charm. Hiking trails were well-marked and offered stunning views. However, the upkeep could be better, and dining options were a bit expensive for the quality. Overall, it was a good getaway, but I felt it was slightly overpriced for just two people.

Rooms

The room was decent-sized, but it was clear it needed some updates and a good coat of paint. There were issues with amenities like non-working charging plugs and a lack of basic kitchen items.

The location is fantastic for hiking in the Blyde River Canyon and is close to the iconic Three Rondavels. It’s also a great stopover coming from Kruger, with easy access to several local landmarks.

I had a lovely stay at this resort, which was a perfect starting point for visiting the stunning Blyde Canyon and its attractions. The room I stayed in was quite nice, but I would have preferred a more comfortable setup for a couple. Although the service was friendly and attentive, the dining experience had room for improvement. Overall, it's a great value for a family getaway with some wonderful views.

I had a mixed experience during my stay. On one hand, the location is truly beautiful and great for hiking, but the chalet we stayed in had some significant issues that detracted from our comfort. The dining options looked promising, but I didn’t eat there, so I can't comment on the food. Overall, I left feeling that the place needed some serious updates and maintenance, especially given the price.

Rooms

The chalet we were assigned was quite old and unfortunately had a leaking shower that made the room feel damp. The TV wasn't working either, and the bathrooms were not ideally situated.
Service

While the facilities seemed decent, they were quite old and not all were in great condition. The pool area was nice, but it could use some attention.

I had a wonderful time at this resort which offers stunning views and cozy accommodations. My cottage was comfortable and well-equipped, but I found the lighting a bit insufficient for evening use. The location is excellent for exploring the beautiful hiking trails and enjoying the breathtaking scenery of the Blyde River Canyon. While the dining experience was just average, it was still a good deal for the overall experience.

Rooms

The cottage we stayed in was clean and conveniently laid out, complete with a comfortable lounge area and a kitchenette, though the lighting was quite poor.
Service
